DHS Designates Venezuela for TPS Status

Posted by Ryan Kosobucki | Mar 10, 2021 | 0 Comments

Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas has designated Venezuela for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for 18 months, until September 2022. This new designation enables Venezuelan nationals (and individuals without nationality who last resided in Venezuela) currently residing in the United States to file initial applications for TPS, so long as they meet eligibility requirements. The 180-day registration period runs from March 9, 2021 to September 5, 2021.

For more information or assistance in seeking TPS, please call our Ormond Beach, Volusia County office at (386) 506-8898 or email [email protected]
